Thermal patches are detected by Thermal imagers and are used for personal ID. Attaches to helmets, back of chest rig, or other determined locations.

Garrison patches are reflective to white light and near-infrared energy.  Primarily detected by the naked eye. But also detected by a Night Vision device. Attaches to helmets, back of chest rig, or other determined locations.
