IR.Tools Extreme Thermal Film is designed for long-term outdoor thermal identification of vehicles, equipment, structures, and other assets.

Supplied as a 24-inch wide by 125-foot long adhesive-backed roll, the material can be cut with a knife, laser, or other cutting system to create custom thermal markers. The black polyethylene protective layer supports long-term outdoor marking while maintaining the exposed thermal surface required for positive identification using thermal sensors.

Unlike conventional markings that disappear in darkness, Extreme Thermal Film remains identifiable through thermal sensors, providing positive identification during nighttime and zero-light operations.

The film is designed for an outdoor life of 3 to 5 years. The thermal surface must not be covered by additional materials, laminates, paints, or overlays that could alter thermal performance.

Extreme Thermal Film can be paired with other colored films as a background to improve daytime aesthetics while keeping the thermal film exposed.
